On 1 August 2018, the French government passed a law requiring companies with at least 250 employees to appoint a point of contact responsible for guiding, informing and accompanying employees in the fight against sexual harassment. In addition, employers will also be required to post in the workplace and the premises where the hiring is done, the civil and criminal consequences of sexual harassment, as well as the contact details of the authorities and competent services. The law is expected to enter into force no later than 1 January 2019.
